Texas Holdem
Texas Holdem is a game of skill and logic and if you are not aware of the rules, there is no chance for you to succeed. That is why here you can read the basic rules of Texas Holdem game - the most played poker variation today. To make the explanations more clear to the beginners, we will divide the game into five different parts - Pre Flop, the Flop, The Turn, the River and the Showdown, of course.
1.) The Pre Flop. This is the first part of the game. Here each player is dealt two cards face down. These cards are called pocket cards (or hole cards). You are not supposed to see the cards of the other players. The game continues with a round of betting. Do not forget that the game is played clockwise.
2.) The Flop. In this part, the dealer puts three cards face up on the Texas Holdem table. These cards are named community cards because all the players can see them. The Flop is a crucial part of the game, because each player can use the Texas Holdem odds to determine the chance to complete or improve his (or her) hand. Another round of betting occurs .
3.) The Turn. Here, the dealer puts another card on the table and there is a round of betting.
4.) The River. The game is coming to an end and the dealer has to deal the next card. The game is followed by another betting round.
5.) The Showdown. The last part of the game is called the Showdown. Here the players have to show their cards in order to be determined the winner.
